Byron & Leach

The Buttoned Sneaker is the first design of the brand proposal 'Byron & Leach', created by four Mexican graphic designers: Fernando Loza, Marlen Cavazos, Mayahuel Morales & Isael Martinez. The design, inspired by the combination of the 50s rebel style and 60s gentlemen elegance, seeks to give to the sneaker a duality of use, both for party and for work. The shoe is bespoke handcrafted by a Mexican shoemaker and features a piece of Mexican silver jewelry in the backstay; unlike other sneakers this design incorporates buttons instead of laces for a more dressy and stylish look.

Winter Oxford is inspired by commuters in winter, a combination of stylish Oxford and thermo - protective boots. For function, comfortable genuine leather and warmth high ankle boots reflects the function needs. For comfort, Winter Oxford uses flexible and soft neoprene in the foam padded collar. Mesh

When I reserch about the beach, I found an interesting article. By improving the cushioning characteristic of shoes, our way to walk become bad way. So a lot of modern people’ s walking is easy to get injured. However When we walk on the beach without shoes, our way to walk become good way. So I decided to design shoes which has feeling of barefoot. I make an original mesh material to give breathability, flexibility and the feeling of barefoot.

Kateem

A light weight trail running shoe that uses innovative materials and production techniques but also builds on traditional know-how to create a new running experience. The upper is made from semi-rigid panels like a stretchy exoskeleton - robust, water repellant and breathable. It has a carbon toe cap and precisely defined flex zones. Traditional lacing is easily adjustable, the sock-like inner and custom 3D printed insole guarantee perfect fit. The midsole is thin and has variable tread inlays. Feet are well protected and supported - empowering runners to perform better.

Paper Doll Shoes

The changeability of shoe surfaces on one base could present more different impressions. It will become the new trend that shoes could change the surface as wearing new clothes. The variety of shoe style brings colorful fashion on your feet. One base matching different surface could easily match your outfit on your likes. The tenon-mortise of the shoe base was applied by modular design. Wearing Paper Doll Shoes is like playing the paper doll, and the users could change the surface freely.

Footwear

The collection was influenced from ballet and fencing. Not an obvious connection at first sight, but ballet was originated as a dance interpretation of fencing in 15th century. The collection merged the ballet pointes and fencing swards in a series of designs that were interpreted in a range of heel heights in degrees rather than centimeters: from a 0°- flat shoe to a 90°- pointe. The designs are modular and consist form the solid 3D printed toe cups and the removable inner socks.
